Description
An excellent choice for growth and meat peptone substitution, non allergen and non GMO. Kosher & Halal certified on a continuous basis, this peptone is characterized by small molecular weight peptides of under 800 Daltons. Other applications are found as a supplement in cell culture for total or partial replacement of Fetal Calf Serum or BSA. Kosher Pareve certification is possible for this reference.
Plant peptone
Pea peptone has proven effective for the growth of fastidious bacteria and can in many circumstances substitute for meat products. Its non-allergen status makes it an interesting choice for fermentation applications where the final product is to be marketed as non-allergen.
